1. Role of Sports in Daily Life:
Sports are very important in our life. They keep our body strong and help us stay healthy. Playing games makes us active and happy. Sports teach us discipline, teamwork, and how to manage time. They also reduce stress and make our minds fresh. Children who play sports do better in school. Outdoor games like football and cricket make our body fit. Indoor games like chess make our brain sharp. Sports also help us make friends and enjoy life. So, everyone should play some sports every day to stay healthy, happy, and smart.

Trees stop soil erosion and help bring rain. They keep the weather cool and protect the environment. Trees are used to make paper, furniture, houses, and medicines. They also make our surroundings beautiful and peaceful. Trees are our best friends in nature. We should plant more trees and take care of them. If we save trees, they will save us. 4. Swami Vivekananda:
Swami Vivekananda was a great Indian monk and teacher. He was born in 1863. He spread the message of peace, love, and unity. He inspired many people, especially young men, to be strong and confident. He believed in education and self-improvement. In 1893, at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago, he introduced Hinduism to the world. His teachings still inspire millions. Swami Vivekananda taught the importance of helping others and living honestly. He passed away in 1902 at the age of 39, but his ideas live on forever as a guiding light for India.

9. King Robert Bruce and the Spider
King Robert Bruce of Scotland was once defeated in battle and was hiding in a cave. He was disheartened and felt like giving up. One day, he noticed a spider trying to weave its web. Every time it failed, it tried again with determination. Inspired by the spider’s perseverance, Bruce gathered courage and fought back against his enemies. This time, he emerged victorious. The story teaches us that failure is not the end, and persistence leads to success.
10.A Lion and A Mouse
One day, a lion was sleeping peacefully in the forest. A little mouse ran over his body by mistake. The lion woke up angrily and caught the mouse. The mouse begged for mercy and promised to help him someday. The lion laughed but let him go. After some days, the lion was trapped in a hunter’s net. He roared for help. The little mouse heard him and came running. He quickly gnawed the ropes with his sharp teeth and set the lion free. The lion was grateful and thanked the mouse. 11. A Poor Woodcutter and the Water God
Once there lived a poor woodcutter who earned his living by cutting trees. One day, while cutting wood near a river, his axe accidentally fell into the deep water. He became very sad as it was his only tool for earning money. He sat by the river and started crying. Suddenly, the Water God appeared and asked what had happened. Hearing everything, the god dived into the water and brought a golden axe. The woodcutter refused to take it, saying it was not his. Then the god brought a silver axe, but he again refused. Finally, the god brought the old iron axe. The woodcutter happily accepted it. Pleased with his honesty, the god gifted him all three axes.
